- Conference Description: Many practices we engage in today endanger the prospects of a strong, healthy tomorrow. In partnership with Broome Community College’s Center for Civic Education, BRSC hosted this two day conference to explore various elements of what it means to plan and act as if the future mattered. The goal of the conference was to no only inform residents about the importance of growing a sustainable community, but also to excite and encourage them to get involved directly in the many local sustainability initiatives that are currently underway.
